Mission

In honor of Hanna's fight for her life, the mission of "Hanna's Heroes" is to ease the effects of cancer on families that are fighting for the lives of their children. Your donation would support the following:  Giving of care packages, support life lines, and services to families of children who are diagnosed with cancer.  Also, to ease the financial burdens placed on Hanna's family, and allow her parents to provide the best possible care. Plus, allowing her mother, Katie Holliday, to provide Hanna with 24/7 hourly care needed to act as her bedside nurse and caretaker. The Holliday family has no way of knowing how long they will be blessed with Hanna and want to make everyday the best possible day of her life and provide the best medical treatment available to fight and cure Hanna of all cancer cells within her small body. The reason they have created "Hanna's Heroes" is to help with their cost of dealing with this deadly disease. In addition, this is a way they can give back and do something as they feel helpless in the battle against cancer.

Becoming a Hero

When you become a hero you are not only helping out Hanna but helping out other families in our community that have been given the devastating news that their child has cancer. When you choose to donate your time, money or any other resource, you not only are making a difference in your own life but making a difference in the lives of entire families and friends. It is easy, just fill out the forms and you are on your way to making a difference in a life today!




Program

"Hanna's Heroes" is currently concentrating on providing care packages to newly diagnost cancer families. These packages cost over $200 to put together. We are accepting donations, or products to go in the packages. All support is greatly appriciated.




Volunteer

We need volunteers that can give of their time! As little or as much of your time is totally up to you and would be greatly appreciated. We understand that your time is valuable and we thank you for donating it to "Hanna's Heroes." Volunteering is a fun way to make new friends and allows us to maximize donated funds . If you would like to organize your own fund raising event, please let us know! We will give you all of the support you may need.




Providers

We need people to provide transportation to those who may not have resources. Also, we need businesses that would be willing to be used as a drop off point for people donating items needed for fund raisers, care packages, etc.  If your business can become a "Hanna's Heros" drop off location please let us know.




Donate

You can make a difference in a family's life with your donation of money, time, fund raising items, or your talent to "Hanna's Heroes." You will be able to stay updated with what we are doing with donated funds by following the "Hanna's Heroes" news page.




Services

• Care Packages: to be given out as soon as possible, after a family finds out their child has cancer.
• Gifts: to be given to both cancer patients and siblings who are severely affected by cancer. These gifts will generally be given out at the hospital or clinic.
• Support Group: members will be families that have gone through cancer or are currently battling through cancer themselves. They will be there when someone needs a shoulder to cry on or support.
• Financial: to be given to help with fuel, medical expenses, and living expenses. If anyone has ever had an extended stay at a hospital you know  the outrageous costs of medical care. Your charitable donation will help both the Holliday family and other families to ease the burden of high medical bills, traveling to and from the hospital, food and other everyday living expenses.  Also, allowing Hanna's mom to stay at home to care and provide for her very sick child.
